One of the objectives of the International Jazz Festival of Madrid is to remove all communication barriers to ensure that all members of the public can enjoy its activities. On our website, therefore, each event is accompanied by different symbols depicting the accessibility measures that will be available. It is also possible to filter events on our website according to each individual’s accessibility needs.
In the case of activities for which patrons need to collect assistive listening devices, it is recommended that they do so at the designated area at least 20 minutes before the event begins. These devices will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability.
The Festival offers a video interpreting service to the public. This service will be provided by sign language interpreters who will be able to assist any deaf person who may need it, answering their questions and acting as intermediaries in the process.
