Ariel Brínquez brings us music that touches our hearts, music that, although based on his Cuban roots, crosses all kinds of frontiers.
He fully connects with the audience, revealing his most intimate nature and a multicultural identity, that combines tradition and modernity with a deep well of sensitivity from start to finish.
A personal and very special project in which he strives to present a more intimate musical Cuba, as well as a tribute to the forms cultivated by great artists such as Bola de Nieve, José Antonio Méndez, Eliseo Grenet, Cachaito López or Juanito Márquez.
He embarks on a journey on which he unravels each of the emotions evoked by the themes of famous poems set to music, poems that are already part of the world’s cultural heritage. Nostalgia Cubana succeeds in recreating and rekindling the sonorous atmosphere of Cuba in the 1950s while at the same time nourishing it with contemporary musical concepts, in a repertoire that constantly evokes passion as the essence of humanity.
