America’s very own John Grant is equally at home crooning from the bottom of his heart as he is getting people up to dance. No matter what register he’s in, he’s perfectly at ease. He always has been. He has just finished touring with Richard Hawley singing the songs of country singer Patsy Cline, and has also just released a stimulating album of dark electronic music as leader of the Creep Show project (Yawning Abyss, 2023).
